EUROPA Resourcings  achieved  its Investors in People accreditation at its first attempt, in September 2004.

According to the iip assessors, it is very rare for any organisation to pass their rigorous standards evaluation and interview process without further attention to internal processes and policies, but we managed to do so!

Naturally we are very proud of this achievement. We have always had an uncompromising policy towards the recruitment, training and management of everyone in our team, but it is, of course, gratifying to have an international standards body confirm that our strategy  is right.

We do not see this as a rubber stamping process, or ‘just another logo' to attach to our collateral. Despite the laurels on the iip logo, we do not intend to rest upon ours! Achieving this status means we have in place the right basic attitudes and quality standards, but they need to be continually maintained and upgraded to accommodate for new situations and more people as we continue along our planned growth path.

What does it all mean to our clients?

What it should mean is that you can be assured of a high level of professionalism and commitment from any EUROPA employee that you come into contact with.  And, it should be an indicator of the level of service you are likely to receive should you choose to retain us. We say should, because of course it is no guarantee, but in a marketplace populated by companies not exactly renowned for service and professionalism, we are confident that commitment to iip standards will ultimately help both ourselves and our clients build a more secure business future.

About Investors in People

Investors in People is the national Standard which sets out a level of good practice for training and development of people to achieve business goals. The Standard was developed during 1990 by the National Training Task Force in partnership with leading national businesses, personnel, professional and employee organisations such as the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), Trades Union Congress (TUC) and the Institute of Personnel and Development (IPD). The work was supported by the Employment Department. The experiences of the UK 's most successful organisations, large and small, representing all sectors of the UK economy, were very positive and the Standard received the full endorsement of wide range of interested parties.

The Standard provides a national framework for improving business performance and competitiveness, through a planned approach to setting and communicating business objectives and developing people to meet these objectives. The result is - what people can and are motivated to do matches what the organisation needs them to do. Investors in People is cyclical and should engender the culture of continuous improvement.
